Trust & transparency

Our editorial standards

Effective 16 September 2026

Our scope

Business, real estate, hospitality, fashion, luxury retail, lifestyle, technology, industry and energy. Political and religious coverage, advocacy and commentary are outside our remit, including when they overlap with a business story.

Sources and reuse

We prefer original research and primary information. A page being available online does not make its words or pictures free to reuse. We use original summaries, openly licensed material or material with an appropriate reuse permission. Sources, authors, image creators and applicable licences are identified on article pages. Third-party materials require their own rights check.

Accuracy and dates

Reported facts and numbers must be supported by the cited material. We identify interpretation, distinguish historical data from current claims and retain the original publication date. A modified date changes only when an article is substantively updated. Unverified claims are held back.

AI-assisted publishing

AI assists discovery, drafting and checking. Scheduled publishing checks look for suitable stories, verify sources and reuse rights, screen topics and check for duplication before publication. A failed or uncertain check holds the item; frequency never takes priority over accuracy. Automated checks can make mistakes, so readers can challenge any article through the correction form.

Sponsorship

Commercial features and placements are labelled “Sponsored” or “Partner content”. Payment does not buy an undisclosed editorial endorsement. Proposed audiences and campaign results must be supported by measured data. Personal subscriber details are not sold to sponsors.

Corrections

Use the correction form and include a supporting source. Substantive corrections will be recorded with the article and an updated date. We remove material when its accuracy or reuse rights cannot be established.
